At the West Linn Old Time Fair that we went to a few weeks ago, I had won a pair of tickets to go see the Oregon Air Show over in Hillsboro. So yesterday Dan, Owen and I went.

First I want to say that due to parking and the heat and the loudness of everything, I was in a bad mood from the start. So I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have if I didn’t forget the tickets before leaving for coffee, if we arrived on time, if we didn’t park so far away, and if it were a little cooler outside.

Second, it also didn’t help that Owen was there. If we go to this in the future, I wouldn’t bring him due to the noise of everything. We brought earplugs for him, but as soon as we were close to a a plane then he started bawling. We sat a little further down away from the noise and in the shade, which helped a lot.

Third, I’m not sure what you call all the different aircrafts we saw, so I’m going to call them all planes. 🙂

Aside from all that, we saw some pretty cool things. Here’s the lineup of the planes that were there:

I must admit, even though I don’t know much about planes, they were doing some neat tricks. Some of them were flying by so fast, it was pretty cool!

Owen didn’t really care about all the planes. He hardly even looked at them, he was so busy looking at everyone walking by lol!

In fact, he liked playing airplane, instead of actually seeing the airplanes. 😐

After a while, we decided to walk around and look at all the booths and planes they had displayed. I actually really liked that part – seeing all of these military planes and vehicles up close was pretty cool!

I even got to ‘drive’ one of the medical things! Haha 😉

Overall, we all had a good time, but by the time we left, the three of us were ready for food and a nap. 🙂
